I think i need to do a DRO i have about 3,000 debt mostly catalogue, I am single unemployed and likely to be so for some time i fear. I havea very small amount of savings which i need as the housing benefit keeps messing up and i am having to pay my rent form that have about two months worth of rent left in my savings. I know i can only have 300 assets but is there any way around this as I am too scared to run out of money all together even if i spent everythign i have on debt it would not clear them
Any answers
please no telings off.

I suppose there is no reasons for those savings to show up on the system is there?
I wouldn't even call it savings - more a float.
I can well understand your desire to skirt around the rules. I know how much HB can screw up and it can leave someone homeless when they do that.
Any reason you can't have cash stash at home?0 -
Agreed, don't declare it and take it out and hide it in a piggy bank at home!LBM - 30/07/09
Started DMP in Oct 2009, went wrong. Due to start new DMP in March/April 2013. Bring it on!
