I keep getting letters from Barclays offering me a £25k loan, but not sure if these are sent to everyone or just because my credit rating is okay?
£18.000 on a Visa Debit Card for a car, and you need a credit card?

I put my car on my visa debit card for 36k and had no problems and the dealer never blinked a eye... i have also never had a credit card and never will want one..nationwide visa debit covers me..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0
