Am i on dial up?

Just wondered if any one can help me, my pc is set up with a homecall speedtouch modem and homecall say up to 8mb connection speed. When i go into Network and internet connections and click on Internet options it says under connections "Dial up and Virtual Private network stteings" and underneath Homecall Broadband Default.

Does that sound right or am i still on dial up?
Any advice would be great as PC is slow.

you are using a BB modem

If "Homecall Broadband Default" is your default then that`s what your on.

Go to start----control panel---network connections and delete "Dial up and Virtual Private network stteings"

You can test your speed at www.speedtest.net

You may need to clear out the rubbish on your PC to improve performance.
