  • Well I have spent every day this weekend, but tomorrow is the beginning of a new no spending week. I dont have long to reach my target so have to start some serious no spending.

I do aim to not spend another penny until Saturday, which will have me at 10 NSDs. Then I will just need to find one more day from sumwhere.

I am confident it can be done though.

I might aim to get to 20, and see what happens! Probably won't manage any more now I've said that :p x

Have passed my aim and got to 18 NSD instead of 15 already this month. If I keep this up I should manage major debt busting even having serviced and MOTd the car!

I never signed up to this as I'm a bit of a newbie on here, but I've been doing this myself too. Managed 6 NSDs so far, which hopefully isn't too bad for my first month. Gonna aim for 10 next month me thinks.

Congrats to all that have reached/exceeded their targets, good luck to those still aiming to do it!

  • Oh wow - everyone is doing so well. Of course I mean everyone except me.

I was so close to having an NSD (only my third) on Saturday. I was really busy and didn't spend anything, even though I really wanted a snack. Then I had a party to go to in the evening, which was fine. But on my way home at about two in the morning I really wanted some chips, and there was a place selling them. They were £1 and I had exactly 99p on me, so I'd given up. Until I found 40p on the floor. So I only spent 60p that day, but still doesn't count!

I'm pretty sure today will be my third NSD, although I'm not going to put anything down until the day is done. And I think I can find another 5 in September. I'm busy Weds, Fri, Sat and Sun I have things on. So if I only spend money on those days I should be fine.
