Wow, this is a great idea:T

I haven't done this before, so perhaps I am setting a high target with 12 for my first month...but you never know!

As I am stuck at home at the moment, I will include my online purchases (day of order) and all of DH's spending days, so the NSDs will be when neither of us buy anything.

I fancy putting some money into a jar/tub each day we don't spend anything...and then opening it up in the first or second week in December to see what we can afford to spend on Xmas pressies, and limit our budget to that (could be dangerous, and possibly difficult with two teenage sons!).

I plan on making some pressies (must start soon!), so that will ease the strain on the budget. I will start on some cross-stitch bookmarks for DH's sister & OH in Canada...won't take long to do, and I have all I need, just have to decide on the designs...I will save on postage sending such light presents too..result :D

Thanks again BigMummaF for starting this thread, I plan on having at least 12 NSDs in September, hope we can manage it!

I'm going to do something like this after I start work. Maybe just £2 a day every day I don't spend which I will put into some of my savings (which I haven't started yet). Will obviously save more than just that!
  • Thanks for putting me in at 15 again.
I am almost ashamed to say i have not even thought about NSD during August:o. Summer holidays and all that......
I promise to try much harder from now on!

  • Thanks BigMummaF for starting September for us again :T

Am sticking to 10 for this month, as I am away on hols for most of September and will have no alternative than to spend  so will be counting NSDs for the days I am at home (15 in total) it might be a tight squeeze but I am thinking positive :D
