Good. So has she made a back up of all her data files now?No free lunch, and no free laptop

A huge "Thank You" to everyone who offered advice and tried to help. We recovered most of the text and she re drew all the tables. I suspect the laptop crashed through overheating, and her next routine back up saved a corrupted file. Anyway lessons have been learned and no lasting damage done.
That's great news. :T
But never forget that the most important person to thank is :A Martin Lewis :A for providing, free of charge, the facility that enabled kindly others to help you and your daughter escape disaster.
It's all to easily overlooked and forgotten...
