Dermalogica skin care samples

Well, I was told I would only get 4 and so I queried the £2.50 charge as it seemed excessive - this was the reply - don't think I'll bother, my local supplier would give me 4 samples for nowt!
Rebecca,
Yes, this is correct. It is mentioned on the website in a number of places. Although the £2.50 is nominally tagged as postage it covers a number of other things, which include employing a full backup of service via a Dermalogica qualified beauty therapist who is on hand to answer queries and E-mails, employing someone to put the orders together as believe it or not samples are actually very time consuming compared to regular size products; it would be far easier to do what all the other online salons do which is not to offer samples or only provide one or two with an order (not 4 per product over £8, as we do). It also covers insurance and premises etc. So, superficially it seems a lot for postage but actually we end up making a loss on samples.
Hope this helps clarify things.
Kind regards,
