Hi,
I wouldn't normally use a sniper, but I have a listing ending tonight at 7.55 but I wont be home.
Can anyone suggest which is the best (free) sniper program to use.
Many Thanks

[SIZE=-1]To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.

Goofbay is good and free to use. You just need to register with them then can start straightaway.0

A man with a gun.What is a sniper?? never heard of this0 -
Software/website. You give them your ebay details, and the details of the item you want, and they bid on it for you in the last few seconds so you don't get into a bidding warWhat is a sniper?? never heard of this
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

I use auctionstealer which works for me, I get an email if the auction goes above the bid I have left with auctionstealer and it bids 10 seconds before the auction ends. You get three a week for free then can either pay for a few more or a subscription for a month or so- if you pay them they bid 3 seconds before the auction ends.
There are many others but I just use what works for me. I don't buy that much from ebay and three auctions a week is enough for me.0 -
Justsnipe has never failed for me, but Goofbay has failed two out of the three times I've used it.0

?? So do you just use them if you're out then? Or is it like a professional thing (I'm just curious if this is why I get beaten so often in the last few seconds) that just randomly gazzumps whoever is the top bidder?
If you don't pay them - how do they make money?0 -
You'll only loose out to a sniper if your bid is lower than the sniped bid, Its still highest bid wins. Just by sniping you stop getting into a bidding war and pushing the price up.
I just manually snipe. Put my highest bid in the last 10 or 15 seconds (depends how brave you are)0 -
Personally I don't like them, and only use goofbay when I have to. (I figure that they are a big enough site to have more to lose than to gain).?? So do you just use them if you're out then? They make money from the cashback that is offered to affiliates I guess. This is my opinion.
