    Can't say I've had many nights in the George Orwell pub, but have had a few (nights as well as drinks!:D) - good atmosphere in there (though it's a few years since I've been there).

    Busy on here this morning, rapidly heading for page 2..

    Afternoon all.

    Thanks Washer - I was only a child when I went to The Wiggin Tree back in the early 70's and it was the first proper restaurant I had ever been in and so was on my best behaviour:D I am pleased to hear that it is still going strong.

    Not long back from Northfield - nipped to bank, a charity shop, and Aldi (my freezer is now well stocked with posh ham) and then I ambled back.
