Afternoon all - sorry not about earlier I was at a breakfast meeting and spreading a little love around the room:D Met some great people - one in particular will be of help as she runs a courier company and can do next day deliveries relatively cheaply:cool:

I am not making the sweets or the cardboard boxes - although I have cardboard boxes that need to be made up into favors..just pop this bit here and bend that and voila. Tixy, is right about the Italian Bomboniere as I am making these from tuille (a dressmaker friend has offered me some silk organza too:cool:) Mine are 3 layers of tuille with 5 chocolate dragees (ivory coloured as they are cheap and look better than white) and I pop some paper flowers in the top and then tie off with ribbon.

Helped a homeless man today by not only buying a copy of the big issue but giving him 2 books of luncheon vouchers to go and buy himself a hot meal and a hot drink..he was over the moon when he looked on the back and saw that he could use them in macdonalds (I thought that it was quite sad about macdonalds though but then thought that their food is probably cheaper as they keep advertising things for 99p).

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
