Good evening all, wet and windy as per usual. The weather that is, not me.

Rog - your Chinese satnav reminds me of this poxy computer keyboard I am using - OH bought it a while ago, it's wireless with a wireless mouse. He said it was a good deal, but with one drawback. I said "Don't tell me, it's a Cantonese Chinese keyboard!" He said "Not quite - it's Icelandic!!" So now we have a keyboard where all the punctuation is on the wrong keys and it keeps losing signal so I can be bashing away like fury and nothing gets typed......

Horace - another Chinese joke for you (as long as the PC police don't hear..)

Chinese man in first class train compartment. Attendant comes round with drinks. Attendant - "You for coffee?"
Chinese man - " No, you ferk offee, I got first class ticket!"

And for the PC brigade - there are far worse jokes than that taking the rise out of English people and I am happy enough to laugh at them.

Numpty - suggest you have some fun by recording a series of different answerphone messages, a posh one, for example, and perhaps one in a Sexy Samantha type voice (think Terry Thomas "Helloooo! Ding Dong!"). Trouble is, they might think they've pulled so will keep calling....

I know someone who is a voice over artist..he does lots of voices and I am trying to get him to set up a voicemail message on my work mobile. I would like it in the style of gollum.what's it got in its pocketses smeagle - or I could go for the M&S version this just isnt a voicemail message this is a luxury voicemail message:rotfl: Actually the guy who is the voice over artist calls himself the performing monkey:rotfl:

Batten down the hatches..the weather is getting worse..it may clear a bit tomorrow but it will lash down again at the weekend:eek:

Good morning everyone. A little calmer today thank goodness. Have now got my work rotas up to New Year, and a couple of appointments clash so have some phoning round to do to rearrange appointments - easier than trying to find someone to swap shifts with this time of year. OH had his swine flu jab yesterday and is complaining of a sore arm - I told him it might last for 3 days (hee hee hee!) - but it has to be better than getting the lurgy.

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
