digital photoframe

I'm having a look at digital photoframes,thinking of getting hubby 1 for his birthday.Are they any good?1 with storage would be good i could then take of my laptop all photos.
Or will it just gather dust?

    Whether or not it gathers dust is up to you but my guess is that it probably will. Mine does.

    They show a slideshow of your pictures and most support video. The size and resolution is invariably less than your main computer screen so the pictures will not be so good as on that. They need a power supply too so not so portable as a laptop.
  • Do you own a panel TV -LCD or plasma? Use that as a large photo frame. Save photos to DVD and make a slide show of them.

    Oh, please don't store all your photo's to a digital frame, back them up to a DVD.
