connect SKY to denon amp

Hi - I have recently bought a denon amp and would like to connect my sky box (panasonic)to it to get the surround sound. The amp has no scart inputs. Please help

  • Assuming you have regular Sky and not Sky+, about the only way to do it is to use two phono connectors (they'll be red and white most likely) to go from the back of the sky box to your amp. Your Amp should be able to produce a Dolby Pro Logic output from the stereo input. If you do have Sky+, then you can get an optical cable and connect the optical out from the Sky+ box to the optical in on your amp.
