Having a large over daft

A question, I have a large overdaft with my bank of 1650, does having this affect my credit score in a negative way?

Will my new o2 mobile contract give my score a boost as my score is VERY POOR indeed.

I have not had any credit in the past.

I just want to increase my score as quickly and best I can, I am on the elec roll etc, would getting a cheap provident door to door loan and pay that off have a + affect my on score and one of these pre paid MyCashPlus cards.

If it's maintained within an agreed limit, then it is potentially a positive. Some banks don't register overdrafts though.

It will have little to no impact on your score while you maintain payments. Miss a payment and then it will be detrimental.

Tell us your plan. Why do you want to do this? There may be more specific advice that other readers can give.

I do know that they specialise in low value / high rate lending that you probably shouldn't touch with a bargepole.
