Anyone succesfully moved abroad on skills visas?

I am wondering, are the U.K. City & Guilds qualifications any good overseas? If so, do you have any idea of which countries recognise these qualifications as a skill?

yes you can go abroad with these but you also need to qualify on other points ie how long you have worked or studied in the past four yrs, how much savings do you have to support yourself, do you have a job to go to ie a sponsored move abroed what age are you etc etc its all on points systmes so the more points you have the more likely you are to get accepted

Why not try Europe first and avoid the need for complicated work permits?
