I want to donate clothes!

I have some immaculate girls clothes and I would like to give them to a worthy cause. I would really like to give them to single mothers who have found themselves pregnant whilst still at school. Anyone know of any special schemes. I dont really want to hand them into a charity shop or one of those clothes recycling things as they are all nicely washed and pressed and ready to wear.

Womens Refuges are always in need of childrens clothes as well, our friends pass all their kids stuff on and i pass on all my better clothes as they are often in need and plus sizes are more scarce apparently

Your local branch of Connexions might know about local schemes for teenage mums. Or SureStart or Homestart, if you have those in your area. Or your Health Visitor?

I used to give all mine and collect from family and friends to give to my local womens refuge, unfortunately it closed due to lack of funding

You've already been given some great idea's of who to contact, you could also contact your local SS dept and see if they have any info, they could possibly take it to distribute to families in need or direct you to someone who can help put you in touch with an organisation that collects for single/teenage parents.
