New Pine Furniture

Hello,
I am looking for some pine furniture for my living room.
I am looking in all the local stores for a waxed finish style.
But the prices in the stores vary quite a lot even though they are quite similar in style.
I am wondering if there are different types of pine.
Are some harder than others?
Thanks
S.B

theres lots a varying quality about. some is not even real wood. others are very thin wood.
the decent stuff is quite thick wood.
once you start looking around youll soon see & feel the difference.Get some gorm.0 -
Have a look at pinesolutions.co.uk - i had an email mentioning a further 10% off sale items this weekend. I recommend them all the time here (i'm not on commission honest!! i wish i were!) - in particular their Oxbury pre-assembled stuff.

I would have a look locally to see if you have a pine sales place, you will usually pass these places and see them adviertised with "pine sale" signs outside, most will have a "stock list" and a lot will actually make items to your drawings\spec, we have found a good place in Nottingham, much cheaper than in the shops, build to our spec/finish and very sturdy, very good value for money0
