I think she realised with all the bleeding heart comments of "you poor thing", "sue M&S", "its not your fault" "anyone can allegedly hide clothes down a pushchair and sit in the cafe while they cover them over and then walk out the store and realise how easy it was and so walk back in to "shop" for further items but only to be stopped."
Happens everyday, it really does. But that is a well organised and profitable business, this poor young innocent girl was surely just a victim?
So now armed with the knowledge there are so many gullible people around she can go out on a not guilty plea and elect for trial at Crown, knowing like minded people sit on juries and she will not be convicted, instead she will be held up as the consumers hero, rehoused, given a bigger and wider pushchair, a mobile phone and a leather jacket. Aint society great ; ) just my humble ramblings.0 -
You guys are all jumping to conclusions, it could be anything, for example:
The OP may have been instructed by her solicitor to close the thread so her case could go to court properly (like with the Debitas thread on Moneysaversarms forum),
He/she may be embarrassed by what has happened or the reaction it caused and asked for the thread to be closed- there was a separate thread on shoplifting earlier last month I think, I asked for that to be closed (and probably others too) as it was becoming a hate thread, it was closed and the board guide messaged me to say so. Similar could have happened here, I didn't message but the OP or anyone else could have done similar if they felt it was becoming abusive.
He/she may have decided to stop their account or de-register from this site and asked for their threads to all be closed. When I left facebook, I did try to erase myself too- its not easy but you can do it with some effort. People can do this for various reasons, for me with facebook it was to try to keep myself protected.
The whole thing could be a joke- the thread I mean. It could be a "troll" or it could be a very genuine story, no one knows.
They could have been sentenced or something more serious could have happened...
Fact is, no one knows, why jump to conclusions of "this has /hasn't happened" when the only fact is, no one knows.0 -

Well thats interesting. One or two unanswered points remained in the account so the jurys out at the moment as far as I can see. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

she has kept her "story" on the other forum as everyone is pandering to her and giving her simpathy!! she need to just face facts that she was caught red handed and suck it up, I'm sure all shoplifters say "oh sorry I "forgot" to pay"
