Hi, I hope you can help.
I recently won two tickets on Ebay for a comedy event. I sne the money via paypal. A few days later the money was returned and i was told the seller was having problems with her paypal account. I e-mailled her and asked if i could send alternative means of payment e.g Postal Order. The seller agreed and gave me her postal address. I sent the postal order recorded delivery and it was picked up and signed for about 1 week after sending. I have now waited about 4 weeks and the tickets have still not arrived. Everytime i email her asking for info she advises me they are on thier was or she will send them soon.
Can anyone advise?
Thanks

Open an eBay dispute, it has been long enough for her to chase the delivery with the Royal Mail now (this is her responsibility, not yours) and see what comes of that.
What is her feedback like? How much were the tickets?
Other than this, I'm not sure what you can do.0 -
hi.
I have already checked with Royal Mail and the item has been recived and signed for. I have an email from the seller confirming that she has recieved the postal order.
After i got my refudn for the tickets i went and tried to find her on ebay and was informed that she was no longer registered.
Is there anything ebay will do as i done this sale outwith their site? It wasnt for much but feel.0 -

No. If you bought off eBay, they won't help. The only safe way to buy tickets is to pay with PayPal.
Bear in mind that the seller **may** not have received the tickets from the promoter yet. Often they are only printed and sent very close to the event. It could simply be that the seller is waiting for them to arrive before posting them to you. If you don't think this is the case then the only option you have is to threaten legal action via the small claims court. But it might be hard to prove you even sent a postal order.0 -
Like barvid says there is a chance that seller hasn't got the tickets yet.
However, by not using paypal as recommeded by ebay you have virtually no come back at all, the fact she has been suspended rather casts doubts on this as a valid transaction I'm afraid.
'I have problems with paypal please pay using an usafe payment method' is the mark of a scammer I'm afraid. However you have a postal address and proof that you sent a PO to her (I assume you have PO receipt ) so there is the possibility of a small claims action here, although even a win there would not guarantee you your money back.
