Hi Stormy, only on that thread you started, incidendently have you switched yet, i am still waiting, although British gas who I have gone to for electricity have managed to do the switch in no time.Pawpurrs x0

Yup, my Electricity was switched on April the 24th. Not sure when I will get my final bill. Ebico seem to be taking longer, I applied for both at the beginning of March.
I dont think Ebico will be raising prices till September time, at least thats what I hope.

I dont think it does, as when I spoke to Ebico last week they didnt mention price rises on May the 1st, and the lady quoted a price of 1.94p/kwh which is what the Ebico site mentions.0 -
Reading between the lines it would appear that Ebico have a bulk buy 12 month renewable contract with Southern Electric , hence the regular price increase every September.
No doubt they also elicit quotes from other major suppliers but as the market up to the last 6-8 months has been relatively stable Southern have got the business . It will be interesting to see what happens in September but I will be dissapointed and surprised if they do not remain very competative, in particular for the low user ,those on Economy 7 and prepayment meters .
