Useless Nationwide Internet

I just have to get this off my chest.
I have Flexi accounts with the Nationwide. These accounts operate via the internet. Nationwide's internet is not working. I've just been told (after a 15 mins+ hold) by an advisor that it hasn't worked for "a few days" and that they don't know when it will be working again. She told me that I couldn't check my balances or make transfers over the phone as she didn't have the systems available to her. I now have to visit a branch. This involved a 12 miles trip that I wasn't expecting to have to make, together with parking fees.
I don't use Nationwide's internet banking very often but, I'd say that, there seems to be a problem about 50% of the time. It's not good enough.

Hmmm .... well I used it yesterday - no probs ... just logged in ok ... I have NEVER had a problem with it ..... although today does seem a bit slow .... assume that you are trying to move money from an e-savings a/c to your current a/c - otherwise the phone people should able to help ... I am not sure that the branch will be able to help either?

I've had problems with the Nationwide online banking over the last couple of days, too - although it seems to resolve itself after leaving it for a bit and coming back to it. I don't normally have any problem at all, and I've been a regular user since it was first introduced. Hopefully they'll sort out whatever the glitch is - I rely on it for transferring money to student offspring, and it's usually fairly "urgent", lol![0

I got locked out of my account last week despite putting in the same details I ALWAYS use
I had to re-register and it would supposedly take 3 days to work, but hasn't yet.0 -
that;s interesting because i've had to re-register twice this year despite being certain of entering correct password etc. I had used the service for years without any problems until this year.0

brief update:
Still can't get into my account. Rang nationwide yesterday(found a free number 0800302010 on saynoto0870) and was told that for some reason my re-registration is being held up, but there was nobody there to say why.
In the mean time, they're sending me out details about phone banking because it's supposedly a free service (free phone?) and will work even if my internet banking dies again.
On the phone now, on hold while they try to work out what's going on.0 -
Sometimes I get caught out, by Caps Lock and enter the wrong details."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Usually Nationwide internet banking is brilliant. However, last week it wouldn't accept my details - which were correct. I then noticed a sign on their website advising of problems.
This week - so far, so good, although don't think it is working as perfectly as before.0
