best option for kitchen floor

Hi
I'm planning to convert a large dining room into a kitchen/ diner by moving the old kitchen out of an extension.
Trying to decide best option for the flooring- the space is largish. Stone floor, tiles or solid wood would be the preferred options.
Any opinions?

Solid wood floors are better in my opinion, as they can be easily sanded and re-finished if you have any stains/marks etc. They are also easy to keep clean...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

I am currently about to start on my new extension kitchen floor. I am going for Amtico Spacia tiles. Warm on the feet and easy to keep clean are my main reasons.0
