How Much to fit an Exterior Hardwood Door

How much would this cost?

Including all window furniture?

I charge £150 to fit a hardwood front door including fitting all furniture etc.

To do the kob properly, a carpenter would need to allow a days work for this, so depending on where you live...

It may not take a full day, but there is a huge difference in the quality of the job you would get between a carpenter and some 'general builders',

I did one last week and told my customer i will charge for a day, so get a list of any other work you would like done and if I have time i will do it.
In the end, I fitted the front door, plained and refitted an internal door, cut and fitted some skirting, cut and fitted some plinth and hung a mirror.
On the other hand, it may of taken the full day just for the door.
So it might be worth seeing if you can get a similar arrangement from a local chippie.

Im a carpenter/joiner like Markie 1980 although also from East Sussex we don't know each other(as far as Im aware)lol ..I normally charge for a days work, most exterior front doors require the bottom of the door rebating (if inward opening)over the threshold bar, Letter plate fitted,5 lever lock and chubb security bolts and possible glass fitting too. So I would say a days money.
I charge £180+vat ,but I also have the overheads of a workshop to keep..
