Not been properly checking my credit card, but maybe 7 years ago I must have joined the RAC for a year, dont know how or why (maybe after buying new car). Ive moved several times and creditcard expiry date will have changed at least two times. Had to go through lot of old paperwork and found that every January RAC have taking around £46.00. Never had any communication , absolutely Zero from them. On every move my mail has been re-directed for 12 months. Has this happened to others ..thanks

Yes happens all the time and RAC along with others are a pain in the !!! for doing it.
It's a recurring transaction even on a closed account they can still take the money, contact RAC and cancel/refund with them.0 -
Best to use a Direct Debit facility for anything that could be continued yearly eg susbscriptions to a service. I never give the long number on my debit card to anyone unless it's for a flight or holiday booking or something very similar. An obvious thing were one would not expect a repeat occurrence of the service.
Direct Debits can be killed very easily.
You'll have to speak with the company and ask them to refund. Check for a number https://www.saynoto0870.co.uk0 -

FYI, and anyone else reading this, the following companies seem rather keen on CPAs, but slow to cancel agreements:
AA subscription, AOL, McAfee, National Homestudy, Norton Anti virus, RAC, Sky, Virgin MediaPeople who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0 -
You should receive membership cards from RAC annually (I do) so worth checking this out to find out why you haven't. Maybe too late to do anything about previous years but ask them to change the record so they have to take your permission annually.MFiT - T2 # 64start date: 1.7.09 MFW end date: 31.10.17

They weren't hidden, you just didn't take the trouble to read them. Really you are only cross with yourself because you allowed yourself to be believe a 'nutritional supplement' would make you thin :rolleyes:0
