which one do you think is best
I haven't paid gas or electric for 3 years now as my family and I have been living in Uni halls of residence so I can't really use the price comparisons sites as all my last bills are way out of date.
Which tarrif do you think is better -
or
I don't really use nectar points, don't shop at Sainsburys or the other relevant places.
I do use tesco clubcard thou for the x4 deals.
I don't really want to fix either as prices seam to have dropped recently.
I have been with edf and npower in the past, but that was before the whole moneysaving thing.
thanks alot

- EDF's online tarrif version 5
or
- Eon's saveonline tarrif

Hi lkmc01
Just thought I'd mention our Save Online tariff is not a fixed price product.
Although the discount is guaranteed until 1 October 2010 prices are subject to change, either up or down, depending on the market.
I do understand you have been out of the game for a while but it might still be useful to have a look at the comparison sites using Ofgems average usage figures. These are as follows.
3300 kWh unrestricted electricity.
6600 kWh for Economy 7 electricity. This is made up of 2970 kWh day units and 3630 kWh night units.
20500 kWh gas.
Inputting these figures might give an indication of which supplier/tariff is best for you.
Hope this helps.

One thing many of the switching sites don't seem to tell you is that should you leave Eon at ANY time in the future (this could be in many years' time) Eon won't give you any discount on the final bill. When you consider the reason they get near the top of the switching sites is due to the huge discounts they give on the rather expensive 'base' figure, time your switch away wrong and you could be faced with a large exit fee in all but name. Certainly something to think long and hard about (now I've told you about it, unlike Malc, of course).Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
So are you saying that if you switch from e-on before getting in a full years energy supply they do not give you any discounts for that year0

No it would just be for the quarter leading upto the changeover date, so if you decide to switch away from E-on try to initiate the switch about three weeks to a month before your bill is due, this should mean that you will only have a closing bill covering a week or so that you wouldnt recieve any discount on.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0
