URGENT HELP!!! regardng crisis loans

Jo

I need £650 before Tuesday the 2nd of September or I am in SERIOUS trouble.

Cant go into it in too much detail but I owe someone said amount above. And if I dont pay it, I may find myself getting my head smashed in 7.

Is there a way of making an URGENT claim for a crisis loan. I would even surrender my benefit for a few months to pay it back. I am that desperate. What am I best saying regarding it? other than I owe someone money I may get my skull caved in?

Am I best explaining the amount I already owe?

I AM SAT IN TEARS, PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME

  • oh, my, dont panic. I dont know anything about crisis loans, but there will be some people on here who can help.

Can you not explain the debt a bit more? I appreciate the fact you might want to keep it private, but it might help people give you better advice.

You've come to the right place for help.

Hi If this person is a loan shark then contact birmingham city councils loan shark team ASAP.
The text below is from the Councils website. HTH

Does what you owe keep growing even though you are making payments?

    Hi

The only things I can think of that would cause this much grief are a loan shark or debts for substances?

Not going to ask which but if it is a loan shark, please contact the people in tealady's post.

If it is something else, can you talk to your parents? I know they may not be in the best of circumstances but i also know that if my son was in that much danger, i would want to know.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
  • It isnt for substances, I borrowed money from someone and told them it was for living expenses and I have a major gambling issue and now I owe them the money back as I gambled it all away.

I may as well kill mself, I am never going to get through this. I'm 22 and in this state

  • Don't EVER thank that death is the option, please seek some help, is there no-one you can turn to? Family/friends that would help in the short term, I don't know about crisis loans but the best people to speak to are going to be Citizens Advice.

Speak to someone about the suicidal feelings, please don't add to statistics, no debt no matter how big is worth someones life, at least you have admitted you have a problem, now its just seeking the right help, you WILL get through this and will have learnt an important lesson, you are '22 and in this state' look at it from a different point of view.......you have learnt at an early age how soul-destroying debt can be, and once it is paid off you will never get yourself 'in this state' again.

    PLEASE ASK FOR HELP xxx

  • Speak to the Samaritans about your suicidal feelings, speak to Gamblers Anonymous about the gambling and get help. There is no point getting another loan if you are going to carry on gambling, you need to address your problems.

It sounds like the person who lent you the money might be a loan shark so phone the number given above for help.
  • please don't even consider suicide, it isn't the answer. you can have a bright future ahead of you, you just need to stay strong and listen to the advice above.

you are only 22 and its not too late to sort things out, but you need to want to do it and that means getting help for your gambling now.

I really hope things start to look brighter for you x

Please do as the others say! Do not be ashamed of your debt, you have had your lightbulb moment and are trying to do something about it so please talk to a friend or a family member!
  • Thank you for the moral support guys.

I have been in contact with GA. I am going to start attending meetinngs from next tuesday. I have finally come to admit I have a problem.

I have also contacted Citizens advice to see if they can help at all.

It is good to be able to get support from people and not be ill judged.

I guess I have learned a valuable lesson about the serious consequences of debt at a young age.

Thank you all, I mean it sincerely
