wireless email problem

i have just set up my wireless network without any problems, apart from my emails.
i can use outlook express without any problems on the pc but not on the laptop.
i used the same settings as i have on the pc (do i need other settings to go through the router)

What exactly is/isn't working with the email?
What happens when you try and use your email? Error Message? If so what is it?
What settings have u transferred over to your laptop?

ive got it sorted now.
i had put an extra full stop in the pop3 account by mistake.
