Hi, I applied for a lloyds credit card online as have banked with them for years and have never had a credit card, only the lloyds visa debit card.
I got this email from them earlier:
Thank you for your application for a Lloyds TSB credit card. We are pleased to inform you that you have been approved for a Classic credit card.
Having assessed your application, we are unable to provide you with a Platinum credit card at this time. Our decision was based on the information you gave in your application, any information we may already have about you in our customer records, and information provided by outside Credit Reference Agencies.
Does this mean I have been approved for definate or will I get a letter via post saying NO!

i believe it means they carnt give you the card you applied for but will give you another card that they do. if that makes it any clearer. :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Looks like you have been approved for a classic card but your income is insufficient for the platinum card which requires £15000 per annum.
