Just a thought, but some parents will actually not want you to take their minded children in a car. Those who do may well want evidence that it is insured, taxed and well maintained.
My wife keeps a folder with the relevant paperwork in to prove insurance/mot etc in to show both to parents and OFSTED.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

BTW, I wasn't for a moment suggesting that a childminder WOULDN'T have their car taxed, insured and well maintained. It's just that I've known some parents who really didn't like their children going in 'strange' vehicles - I even knew one who wouldn't let her child go on a coach for school trips!
So I'm just saying for the OP that the lack of a car need not be a huge disadvantage, when there are families who prefer the child to be minded 'at home' or only taken out very locally.
I know it can limit the school pickups, but again, some parents will be glad to know that their child won't be spending half the afternoon being ferried around in a car to pick up other children. I exaggerate slightly ...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

I am merely LOOKING to see if there are any grants for FUTURE reference. I have a financial situation which I need to clear for the time being. However I have just completed training, will be working soon and in the near future will be looking for a vehicle!
So if you've found such a great way to clear your debts, why don't you just keep on using this great way and raise the money yourself? The kind of business I am going into does not require a huge amount of capital. I am not going into detail about that as there will just be "more" negative comments.
Doesn't require huge capital? Okay, so you have to cover registration fees, insurance, car costs, housing costs, perhaps toys, then you've got to pay for all the other things like socket protectors and so on that the authorities will demand. Once you've paid all that, *then* you can start making money.
As I said, undercapitalisation is often the thing that kills a new business. From Poland...with love.
