unenforceable credit agreements

I know that unenforceable credit agreements on current debt can be challenged depending on when you signed them and what they contained.
What about credit agreements that may be unenfoceable in relation to debts you have already paid?
Can you be compensated on these as advertised by some companies or is this just a waste of time?
Thanks
G

Absolutely, you will be wasting time, energy and more importantly money on a wild goose chase with nothing to show for it at the end apart from an empty wallet. What about credit agreements that may be unenfoceable in relation to debts you have already paid?
