Going to Budapest next week. Easyjest have just asked for details of passports, nationality, date of birth etc. Hungary is not on any list of API I can find. Has any one else had experience of this?

Booked flights a couple of weeks ago to Krakow and straight after confirmation the site asked for API of all travellers.0

We went to Budapest about a month ago with Easyjet, the flights were booked ages ago. We we not asked for API details at the time of booking but received an email a couple of weeks before departure asking us to log in and provide the details.

Thanks for your quick responses. I am perhaps just over cautious at providing my personal information on line.0

Wonder why Easyjet are demanding API off everyone?
More intrusiveness from the UK state? From Poland...with love.

Their books are lying on the floor.
The books are sitting just there on the floor.0

The most up to date list of countries which require A.P.I. that I have found online is this... http://www.justtheflight.co.uk/faq/#58
The list has changed quite a lot this year but as a general benchmark, if you see a list that does not include France, then it's out of date as France joined the list in June of this year.
We should bear in mind the GB was one of the very first countries to require this information so it's just that other countries are gradually coming into line with what we have been imposing for ages. And you can be refused travel if this information isn't given. It doesn't happen a lot because the information is usually given at departure if not before, or not at all in some cases, but it's not a risk worth taking.0

Sorry, but it doesn't.WickedWolfie wrote: »UK requires API for all OUTbound and INbound travel.
We only started adding A.P.I. for France in June when they came onboard and the list does change on an almost weekly basis, though there was a glut of changes in May/June. We still don't request that information for travel to Belgium.0
