Hotel in Paris?

Can anyone suggest a good hotel in Paris?
I realise that is a bit of an oxy-moron considering I don’t want to spend much over £80 a night. But my wife (who is 7months pregnant) and I are planning one last getaway near the end of May and are really sure where to stay. We have trolled TripAdvisor, scoured LastMinute, Hotel Discount etc and are just plain overwhelmed. Ideally we would like to stay in Montmartre area and have seen a few recommendations for hotels on this site but those hotels are already booked! Anyway, honest advice is appreciated.
cheers

We stayed at the Comfort Inn Sacre Coeur on the Rue des Abbesses the last time we were in Paris (3 yrs ago). It's in central Montmarte and the street is great. The hotel is a grand old building and our room was clean and a very good size which is unusual for Paris! It was also very reasonably priced (then!) - I think we paid around £60 per night. There are some great places to eat nearby and the Metro is very close! Good luck and have a smashing time!"I'm ready for my close-up Mr. DeMille...."0

I'd recommend doing a search on https://www.venere.com - reallu good site with lots of useful maps and reviews and other info. Reasonable prices too, and for 4% off, use code: BK5HX8W (you don't have to pay in advance either)
Hope that helps0 -
Another site worth looking at where you don't have to pay in advance is https://www.laterooms.co.ukDon't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

I'm sorry, I don't apologise. That's just the way I am. Homer (Simpson)0 -
We visited Paris last month. I did a lot of research and actually found the official Tourist Office had the best prices, even compared to discount sites such as octopus travel (5% discount). It was also easier to choose the area to search:

We are in Paris in 3 weeks. Staying at LE MERIDIEN MONTEPARNASSE.With Bookings.net it comes in around €435 for 3 nights (Just over £100 PN) which I think is OK for a 4Star0
