Barclays chasing money I owe them but they still owe me

    Do you owe the money to them, or not? It sounds like you do. So what is there to defend? Pay them what you owe. It's not rocket science.

    The OP has sued the bank already and it is stayed because of the OFT test case issues. His claim predates the one by a DCA. The Debt Collecting Agency chose to fail to follow court protocols so didn't ask if the debt is in dispute which it is.
    Why does the OP pay the claim since the amount has not been established?
    You did read the previous posts before jumping in, right? I think you misread parts of the threads and are unaware of court processes.

    Possibly, lets wait for the original court case to complete before starting another one eh.
