New mystery, the phone has a pulse and is OK when I plug into the socket separately, the computer broadband is OK when I plug into the socket with the DSL filter, if I plug the phone into the socket with the DSL filter it does not work.
When I plug both into the socket with the DSL filter the phone does not work but the broadband is OK, I have tried with different DSL filters so it cannot be the filter is the problem. I have also plugged another phone into the DSL filter on another socket and it is OK. It is only when they are both plugged into the filter that the phone does not work. The socket is an extension from the master socket. Can you help?
