Cheap hotel in Glasgow for 23rd of October

The City Inn in Glasgow. Just 5mins walk from the SECC- handy for Glasgow too, and usually good rates.0

If your budget stretches past the rates of Etap then I would avoid it. There has been a bit of hassle around the hotel and some strange goings on .........perhaps due to the cheaper rates??
Campanile is handy is its practically outside SECC as is City Inn0 -
Stayed at E-Tap a few weeks ago for a family wedding...all fine and was impressed. What's the problem now as was thinking about it for a night out?0

If you have stayed there and everything was OK then maybe it's not as bad as I've been led to believe. I had heard been a bit of trouble as it was being used for "dodgy deals" and the police had to get involved.
I'm all for cheap nights away but to be honest I think I would still prefer to stay somewhere else.0
