Hi Guys,
Need some advice.
Does anyone know of cheap hotels for 1 night that wont be over £60???
I know its not alot but im rather skint at the moment due to going off to Africa.
I've got tickets to see Michael McIntyre for my boyfriends birthday on that night but dont want the hassel of running to catch a train back.
Do you think I should wait and try last minute.com nearer the time?
Any help would be appreciated.

try menzies hotel, thats near the secc, its between the secc and the city so its quite handy for everything. nice inside and often do good deals so worth a look.
also check the premier inn at charing cross thats also near by and cheap....work permit granted!0 -
We stay in the Marriott every time we go to Glasgow now, we know what we're getting and can normally get a room with a super-king size bed and breakfast with plenty change out of a £100... it feels like a little holiday instead of just somewhere to sleep.
OK so it's not the cheapest, but it feels better value than paying £50 for a basic uncomfy bed and a tiny bar of soap.
I'd rather have a couple of drinks less and a decent hotel, but that's just me...
If you only want cheap, try the Etap hotel, basic room is £34.
I'd make the hotel part of bf's birthday gift and get him one less birthday present....Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Campanile Hotel is £62 for that night and is literally 2-3 mins walk from SECC at the end of the car park0

I would suggest the etap hotel too. We stayed there on the night of our engagement party. What you pay for is what you get - a half decent bed, toilet and shower.0

Easy walk across the footbridge from SECC too. 20mins all pretty flat. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett
