Excel Spreadsheet issue need Help Please :o)

Guys i want to put a background in on an Excel spreadsheet (Im using Excel 2003) I know how to put a back ground in but how do i limit how many times the picture gets repeated in the spreadsheet? (At the moment Its like when you tile a picture for your desktop background except this is repeating all the way through the spreadsheet making it 35MB in total lol) I just want the background for the first part of the spreadsheet that is viewed. Does anyone know how i can stop the background picture repeating itself thoroughout the entire spreadsheet? any help would be much appreciated

Not sure if you can. I think you might have to just increase the size of your image to match the area you want it as background for and then hide unwanted columns/rows.0
