Hello there,;)
I believe there have been dealings with these, hopefully the ones that have experience with these will post up soon.
I would also enclose a copy of the letter you received from WF, this will confirm to them that you have already gone that direction, and also confirm its Auto Credit Finance that you contact, so that you get no come backs again, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

I did enclose a copy and sent it recorded on the 10 aug it was signed for on the 11 aug so just wait now i assume.
thanks0 -
I think that with all the nonesence going off around WF they are simply trying to bluff their way out of things. I have no doubt that the PPI will have been "sold" by WF.I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.
However, I have since seen the light.0 -

Hi Kev
There are 2 choices here, you can ring the FOS to tell them your situation of being passed the buck, and ask is there anyway they can now write to WF on your behalf.
Or
You can write to WF yourself and enclose a letter from the other company (a copy) to show you have already tried this direction, and the letter confirms you write to WF.
Personally I would ring the FOS and ask if they can help you, good luck and please keep us posted.;)

I Sent my first letter to welcome on 31st July to reclaim PPI from 2002, have recieved no response. Sent the secound letter with deadline of 25th september no response. I didnt send these recorded delivery though??!!
I have now informed the FOS in hope that they can help me ??agghhh
Does any one know hoe long it takes the FOS to let me know what action they will take if any??
In the Meantime we have had three payouts from Citl Financial :T0 -
I would give it a few weeks at the FOS to see if the business accepts the complaint and its within FOS jurisdiction. You could try calling them too. You should be ok if it was sold after 14 Jan 2005 when all insurance was regulated or if Welcome were GISC members before that date.kateshanks wrote: »I Sent my first letter to welcome on 31st July to reclaim PPI from 2002, have recieved no response.
