EON Energy tracker

I've been adding my meter readings at the end of the month for the past 8 months and have enjoyed monitoring my energy use.
However, when I went to look at it this morning it seems to have changed. i no longer have data on the previous year's consumption - it's all reset to zero.
I notice that there is a new colour code system which will go red if you use more than the same month last year and green if you manage to reduce consumption. I guess I'm not going to have that benefit until I keep going for another year.
Why is this? Is it because I recently changed to another tarriff with eon?

Your right the energy tracker has changed, this should give much more info than the previous graph.
The green or red blocks of colour show the usage for this year, the black line is the previous 12 months usage. Is it the black line that has disappeared? and have you been with E.ON for a year?
It should also give you the percentage difference of usage from last year each month to this year, green using less red using more.
Changing tariffs should make no difference at all.

THanks very much for replying. I've been with Eon for at least a year I think. Last year's usage was visible before but now the black line has been reset to "zero" as it were - just a flat line. My blocks are grey rather than red or green so it appears that the information doesn't exist to make a comparison. Perhaps it is because I only started doing monthly readings earlier this year?0

There does appear to be a couple of reasons for your tracker problems, first thing to ask is have you had a meter change recently?

We haven't had a meter change. We have last year's figures on the graph from septembr onwards but everything before that is just reset to zero so no comparison can be made.0
