As it is coming to the christmas run up I was thinking of starting to try and buy bulk/sell on ebay/sell other places.
I was wondering who does this? How do you find your supplier?
I have sort of an idea what I want to deal in but finding a supplier is proving hard, I don't know what companies have good feedback etc etc - can anyone help? Thanks

If your buying and selling stuff on ebay make sure you have a separate buying account.
As for other suppliers off ebay its research into the area you wish to sell. Lots of phonecalls etc. It is sometimes hard to find. You can have a look in your area for trade auctions or suppliers. It also depends on what you are selling as the best places to source stock. Yellow pages always good as a start. Its not easy when starting to find the best suppliers. Sometimes its just luck. Our main supplier we found by accident Also try not to rely on one supplier as if they put there prices up or go bust you can then have problems0 -

I will always buy using one account/sell using another.
Thanks for the advice, I will scour the yellow pages tonight!0 -
If you've an idea of product, usually a good way is to find the importer/manufacturer's details which on most items are on the product. Whilst they may not be the ones to supply you, they can put you in touch with wholesalers who they supply.crazygeordiegirl wrote: »As it is coming to the christmas run up I was thinking of starting to try and buy bulk/sell on ebay/sell other places.

If you're buying to sell: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/account/how-to-register-business.html. And tell HMRC as well.Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.
