Hope lil's results are blinding sammy.....!

happy 1/2 birthday little Nathan.... (up the gunners indeed!! you can go off some people!)

    I felt obliged - they're my Dad's team - I really don't do football:p

I did check my jeans stash but if I gave you the 12s that are too big I'd have no jeans at all...:D

  • Morning all. My internet went off early last night (boo). It's back now (hurray). Kids have just set off for Leeds Fest ("C'moooon, Dad!" - OH is late for just about everything - drives the rest of us nuts) and won't be back til Monday night. They'll sleep all day Tuesday so I should see them Wednesday afternoon...

Lovely morning here and I've fed the beasts and put some washing in (Go me :D).Just found out a friend of OH is staying tonight so have to wash kids' bedding for him to sleep in. And tidy up. So kick up the arris for me today)

Hope everyone's set for a good day - good luck to GCSE'ers and happy birthday Nathan!

    Happy 1/2 birthday Nathan...
Good luck to Sammy's DD2 and with the sleek new bob!
Kudos on the jeans Becky... I can only dream of Size 8 jeans

Got a few minutes whilst I've put Evie down for a nap and am waiting for Washing machine to finish so I can hang washing out to dry and thought... ge on the computer and chat on MSE!

Got a poser/ponderable for you all...
I now weigh LESS than before I became pregnant but I'm wearing clothes TWO SIZES BIGGER than before I became pregnant. Why? !!!!!! is going on? Will I ever fit into my pre-pregnancy wardrobe again?

Today, I'll be hanging out the washing, then taking Evie to Story Time at the library then coming home and giving Evie a feed and some more baby rice then doing some housework. I figure I'll be more motivated to do 15 minute bursts (a la flylady) and then have an MSE visit!

    Have a great day everyone

    humph! @ gunners....

and s'okay about the jeans... i am not a 12 as such but i have 3 pairs of decent jeans... all 14's... 2 pairs just hang off me after about 20 minutes wear... the other pair are snug and stay looking good.... much trying on of jeans is really required to get the correct ones...
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

    Morning all

Fingers crossed for DD's results Sammy - how many has she taken?

Luc- Where has that 6 months gone?? Happy half birthday to Nathan :j

Talking of jeans, being the trend setter that I'm not, I brough some of the £3 a pair smart price ones in George last week, they're just the right length for me and fit lovely...I might have to treat myself to a 2nd pair.

Got a friend each for DD turning up in a mo - joy! DD1 has hormonal grumps, DD2 is doing her blonde act and DH has already gone back to bed with his back.

    fun fun fun!

Cat could it be that you were more muscly before you were pregnant - if so its unlikely that diet would regain your shape for you...walking or swimming might help and if that doesnt cardio will...

I'll know who to blame when I can't get out of my street cos of all the festival traffic;) Seriously though, the police have kindly closed York Road so all the festival traffic coming off A1 & M1 will go UP the Ring Road find out the last stretch is closed and then go DOWN the Ring Road thus making DOUBLE the traffic:rolleyes:

Right washing machine has finished so off to hang out washing.

Bloody kids waking me up at 7am grrgrumblerassenfrassengrumblemumble

I could've had a free pizza last night too. Just after I went to be (and got comfy and dozey.. hmph..) there was a big knock at the door and some pizza guy trying to deliver a pizza. He was very apologetic when I told him to bog off as I was in bed... lol!

Not much planned for today... got to call the doctors and see if some test results are in... do a bit o CAB work... mostly housework and a trip to the shops really. Oh the excitement!

    How's everyone today?

OH was trying to explain and it seemed like a daft idea...They'll be on a bus from York.

  • My 2 have just got their English GCSE results A and A*!:j I'm so pleased for them cos there was no home-edding going on for 2 months at all after my diagnosis in January and we had to catch up with everything. Just told them and they took the news waay cooler than I have "Oh right. Cool" - God I'm off to have a "wee greet" as me granny used to say...
