Besides being a potential security risk, if you like YouTube you're going to have to upgrade pretty soon or else choose another browser anyway.

I only use it on the rare occasion, I use FF or Opera mainly, I detest YouTube, so no worries there.. ;)

Been running IE8 here for several months without any problems on both a desktop with XP and laptop with Vista.
  • I've tried and tested a variety of browsers and i've ALWAYS found IE to be better.

Been using IE8 since it came out and I've not had a single problem with it.

You don't mind that it's a lot slower than other browsers?

Or that it's the least standards compliant?

What, in particular, do you like about it?

Downloaded the update after all your comments thankyou :) so far so good but I have to really look more at the settings choices when I have time, I just chose to auto select at the moment.

I have had quite a few viruses recently so decided to upgrade this as some of the members mentioned here its better to have the higher security that will come with the ie8 and perhaps a lot of the problems will have been ironed out by now anyway :)
    Thanx

Same here. Have tried Safari and Firefox and really can't see any noticeable advantage over IE. Still using FF so I can use Property Bee
