single status statutory declaration

hi, can anyone help me?
has anyone got a copy of a single status statutory declaration that you need to get married abroad (cyprus), the solicitors charge a fortune just to write it up.
If anyone could help it would be much appreciated

Here you go, this is the one that Thomas Cook provided to us for our wedding in Ayia Napa, Cyprus. It cost us £5 each to have it signed and stamped by a Solicitor. Also dont forget to get a business card from the solicitor incase they request it. You also need photocopies of your witnesses passports. Hope that helps

through travel agent but we're havin it in hotel

We got married 15 years ago in the Caribbean. We called a local solicitor about getting a single status letter and we went to see him. We explained what we wanted and why, he got his secretary to type up a letter, he signed it and stamped it and handed it over. When we asked how much we owed him he just waved us off and said it wasn't worth the paper it was written on but if that is what we needed we were welcome to it.

I guess now that getting married abroad is more popular he's charging a lot more for the service !!!

I got married last year in Ayia Napa and used the above Declaration and it was all fine :0) my hubbys was a little different as he is divorced.

Which hotel are you getting married at?

We were at the Grecian Sands and had an amazing time, wish I could do it all over again
