    Input varies throughout season. I start it off in October at lowest point, rises to around 2/3rds way around dial and falls back gradually until cut off around May/June.

    (Judging by the cold weather here today, I don't think I can hold off until October before switching heating on this year!!).

    Our annual electricity bill last year came to £1100, but I think we are heavy users as regards OH's computers and gadgets and my use of tumble drier, cooking and baking.
