Has anybody had a loft conversion done on a trussed roof?
I really need some extra space but have a feeling it will be a really big job

We had a quote to convert our loft with a trussed roof and it came to £58,000 including VAT. They said they virtually have to take the whole roof off and start again, raising it higher as there wasn't much head height there. We politely declined.0
