D-Link 2640R router any good??

i currently have a netgear DG834g router.
AOL have sent me a D-Link 2640R router free and advice to use it to get the best speed results from them rather than the netgear.Is this true?
both seem to have the same specifications.
Should i continue with my trusted netgear or use the D-link. i was hoping to sell the D-link on ebay as its new and unopened in tits box sealed.
Any advice appreciated.

not much difference in them to be honest, the only thing i will say is that AOL might stop support for the router you have now.0
