  • My LO who had 'hand foot & mouth' is a lot better now, she's still got a few spots which don't seem to shift & still hasn't got her appetite back fully but she's ok in herself.

DD seems a lot better now she's back at school, think that's taking her mind of things really especially now this week she's started at the new school which has finally opened - been in the making for FIVE years lol

DH Grandma has got progressivly (sp?) worse, she's now living with DH's Mum whilst she has all the work done at home but because MIL & DH are both trying to work full time still it's very hard for everyone. There is little chance of his Grandma getting fully better, she can only walk a few steps now so is in a wheelchair most of time when/if she goes out which is a struggle on everyone. She's had an MRI scan, was supposed to go for results on Weds but the ambulance transport never arrived so she has to wait til Jan now.

  • O2 are really good at checking if your using all your allowance or if they think you'd be better suited to a different tarriff. If you've recently upgraded then it may be just to check everything is ok on your tarriff.

    Debt-free and Proud!
Didn't want to bump the thread (you know what I mean;)), but entered http://www.tayfm.co.uk/Article.asp?id=1571339 and as I scrolled down, I saw number 9.

My DH still remembers the christmas he bought me something similar - I don't think I spoke to him till New Years Day:rotfl:, I wanted a PS2:mad:.

With this in mind I cannot believe that something like this would have made it to number 9 on the top ten presents for christmas:confused:.

    MMmmmm dinx...

What a kind, thoughtful present. The Top ten presents for women for Christmas chosen by men, perhaps? Especially the underwear vouchers for a size D-K (I'd need Turkey fillets to stand a chance of getting into those!)

I have to say, my most memorable pressies are 2 (cheap) tyres from a now extremely Ex, but then-fiance (who was a mechanic and I'm pretty sure they 'fell of the back of a lorry') and, from the same person (why didn't I learn? I suppose I was young) - a hairdryer, bought in haste the following Christmas Eve.
