Evening everyone. Well my husband went away last night for 5 weeks :( I am now home alone with the babies and missing him already. On the positive side it means I can comp all night without feeling guilty.

Anyone any idea why my subscription to the main competitions thread isn't working? I thought it would email you the comps posted that day. I'm not getting anything through..

My backs a lot better now thanks korky, after plenty of sport.gifit has eased off. I often get a bad back in the cold weather, have done since I fell down a manhole years ago! :o (Ok...who laughed?) :D
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

  • I've just emptied the whites out of the washing machine to discover that a blue sock made its way into the load and now my best duvet cover and all of the kids new white school polo tops are BLUE :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Why do things like this always happen to me when I've no money to replace stuff. I could scream.
Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small

Could you not try bleaching them? If you're going to throw them anyway, then there's nothing lost?

I often bleach DS1's school shirts, and we eat lots of 'stain-able' foods and DS1 is a messy eater :rotfl:

hey wingo I got the buzz trial too, loads to give to people lol.

poodle, I normally try the vanish whites thing. I make it up pretty strong then soak it for a few hours. Might need more that 1 go to get the stain of the blue out it's pretty expensive though at about £6.00.

I normally presoak in a white vinegar mixture before I use it though.

Good luck hope you manage to get it out.
If at first you don't succeed try, try, try again.
