Hope the comping fairy is good to us all, is it me or are there a few less wins being reported in IWIWIW this month? There's normally loads more at the start of the month.

Hope you enjoy Barcelona Gemma, it's a fab city - but got to agree about the pickpocketing, my purse got nicked on the train, even though I had my bag across my body! My friend also had her bag slashed and purse stolen from the bottom.

Not very trendy but I would consider one of those hidden pouch things for your money/cards etc. Have fun though, it's gorgeous! Parc Guell is amazing - go there at sunset if you can!

a money belt is a definite plan, I don't plan on carrying much cash - would rather take a card sting in interest than risk losing it all - Sorry Mr Lewis :rotfl:
I've got a few weeks to weigh up which camera to take.. but thinking about it I happily walked around London centre with my camera around my neck and never thought about it.. why should I think Barcelona is *that* much worse.. hmm!
insurance is next on the list! and dedicated camera insurance too! Just i cant go more than a week without one because of the course.. hmm! decisions decisions

Glad you've won lots princess. I just thought there seemed a bit less posted than normal, although as you say it's hard to judge, not everyone posts in there. I'm afraid I stopped after some of the strange PMs I got...so I hope people don't think I'm ungrateful for winnings, I just prefer to be anonymous now, much less hassle.

I've won nothing this month so far other than a £2 voucher which was through a survey I found before joining MSE but nothing and nobody will stop me posting in IWIWIW if I want to share wins because I have no time for jealous or !!!!!y people any more; dumped a whole lot out of my own life, let alone from here; it's what the ignore function is for...sorry to rant but I've been quiet lately as busy with real life and also sorting things out.

Incidentally, I have no Inn people that I know of on Ignore, but have got a couple of MSErs in general on my Ignore list now. But nobody should feel like they can't post just because they may get that sort of unfair backlash...it would make me want to post even more as a "stick you" sort of thing to them.
