Any tips for booking Croatia please

Hi, myself and a friend have literally just decided to go to Croatia for a long weekend next week. Now neither of us has any idea where would be best to go or where we might be able to get the best deals for holidays/flights etc... I am about to start googling like mad but if anyone can help that would be brilliant!

Think you will struggle to find something for less than a week. Easyjet fly from Liverpool to Dubrovnik, but it will be expensive booking so late. You can get to Istria flying via Venice or Trieste.

Dubrovnik is a destination for short city-break type packages, google city breaks and see if you can find dates to suit, might be cheaper than finding separate flights at this late stage.
